I don't watch many NL games (even though it is a better brand of ball, IMO) but this has been a very fun game to watch tonight. There's nothing better than an extra-inning one-game playoff where every single pitch, every single swing, every single decision from here on out could mean ballgame.

Should be interesting to see how this one ends up.

Let's just hope that if the Rockies win they don't do it by using one of OldFatGuy's mythical rarified air baseballs that haven't been stored in the infamous humidor.

At least there's a day between games. This way, Colorado and San Diego doesn't have to send out their starters to Philadelphia only to watch the playoff game in his hotel room. The pitcher on the losing team would have a very lonely flight back.

It's not the "lead runner", Orsillo. It's the "leadOFF runner." I really don't like this guy. He drives me nuts.
