None of those worked. Same error message.

Two things:
1. I stupidly forgot to capitalize csv, so hopefully you did CSV:../csv, etc. Case matters. 2. Try moving the csv directory to cgi-bin/csv. Then make the setup.txt parameter "CSV:csv". If THAT doesnt work, then shoot me. It's better to be here probably, since you shouldn't let you .csv files be viewable to the public.

Okay. I'll report back in 2 minutes.
Wow. You know you're in *nix mode when you hit "ESC, ESC, W, Q, ENTER" instead of clicking the "post quick reply" button.

Clearly something else is going on then... if you trust me, I could log on myself to your system and try to get to the bottom of this. PM the info to me if you're ok with that.
I'm at work and can't get outside the firewall, so I'll have to do this tonight.

I think I know what's wrong.
The cgi-bin directory isn't the actual cgi-bin directory. It's a symbolic link I created. Let me try and move everything and try again.

The symbolic links explain the oddness of your directory setup. My offer still stands if you want me to log in and look into it.

For those of you who were on the edge of their seats about this discussion wiht mikev, the issue looked to be something with how Perl was reading the files from the server. Maybe someone out there has a clue what was going on?
For some reason, an odd whitespace character was being picked up by Perl at the end of the line, but Perl wouldn't remove it with the "chomp" command. When I outputted the line, it would print bizarre results... if the string was "csv", it would print " v". It's as if the character was removing the first 2 characters of the string, even though the character was at the end of the string. I fixed by modifying some RegEx's, but I have no clue what was going on.

Guess I'm confused - why are you looking at CSV files for exports?
If you want to know if the team file is newer than the league file on the FTP, you can check for the file existence, compare it to the date on the league file, and determine if it's more recent than the league file. This is pretty easy in PHP. Are you looking to get something more out of the CSV files? |

Yep... team names, ID's, logos, as well as league and sub-league structures, so you don't have to type it all in yourself. Here it is for the league I am in:
