Retiring/unretiring player...

Hey there,

In my fictional league I was just fooling around and seeing what would happen if I brought back my 42 year old retired former star.. So I found him in the retired players list and did Action --> Unretire player..

I then went and just saw he showed up in FA... saw that he would accept a minor league contract, but didn't offer anything ..

Then I just sent him back... Action --> Retire player.

Anywya, after that, I checked on my league leaderboards, and they all got screwed up. He jumped to the top of every category, I'm pretty sure because once he got unretire and retired, it added all his stats together again .. As in, I think he had 800 some hits in his career, he was now at 1,600 .. Or something like that, because he instantly became the leader in a ton of statistical categories that he is not.

How do I change this so my leaderboards aren't all messed up?

Thanks.

Known bug in the current released version of the game. It has been verified as fixed in the patch-to-be-released.

The problem is that stats were getting doubled when a player was unretired.

Is there any way to manually edit things so it doesn't make the leaderboards all wonky?

You could theoretically export the database to csv, find the relevant lines and delete one of them in players_career_batting or similar and teh same for pitching and fielding, and then use my mod to reimport the csv's back to the game.
