Franchises that moved

I hope it is OK to post a question here. My OOTP 2007 historical league begins in 1943. Currently, the Braves' Historical Team ID is BSN. When the league year is 1953, do I have to change the Braves' Historical Team ID to MIL by hand, or will the game automatically make that change? Will the team automatically move to Milwaukee, or will I have to make that change myself?

I think that if you choose auto-expand in the game option the move will be made.

Does that mean you can also turn auto expand off to prevent teams from moving. I am vehemently opposed to teams moving. If they can't make it, they should fold. Any other city wanting a team should get a new expansion team.

So in my dynasty I want to prevent any team from moving, if possible.
