Adding Photos

Hey guys, first off, apologies if this is in the wrong place, but I just have a quick question. I recently started my dynasty with the '07 Brewers, and I noticed it doesn't include photos of some of the newer Brewers like Manny Parra, Ryan Braun and Yovanni Gallardo. I was just wondering, how do I add these photos to make them appear in game? Thanks

I appreciate the help Sandman, the only problem was I have the photos, I just don't know how to get them to appear in game. How do I do that?

Did you just add the pics to your game? if so you will most likely have to restart the game before they show up

Place them in this folder-

C:\My Documents\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\saved_games\yourleaguename.lg\news\html\ images

To get them to appear In Game you have to get the player(s) ID # and change the player name, for example, Ryan Braun to player_1073 (player + his ID #)

To find his ID # open the game and go to the players profile. Click the editor tab and his # is top left; Basic information

You can actually skip the player ID part and just label it Ryan_Braun

Thanks for the help guys. Gallardo and Parra worked when I put them in the photos folder, but Braun didn't. My guess is because of the two Ryan Brauns in baseball (the RP on KC). Any ideas?

I'm still having lots of problems with this. I began a historical league starting in 1974 and started creating pictures for the Yankees and White Sox. I have all of them in jpeg form and currently have them in C:\Users\(my name)\Documents\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\photos, and in C:\Users\(my name)\Documents\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\saved_games\My Life Baseball League.lg\photos and the "news..image" folder method stated above. I even did the player_6815 method and that didn't work either.

Am I supposed to disable something in one of the in-game windows? Is it possible to have saved them wrong?

Visit www.planetootp.com and install my Photo Program for 2007.

It automates the adding of the photos and also allows you to download collections.

I got it now. I just did Reggie Jackson on my computer and it went through. I started doing the Yanks and White Sox on a different computer and saved them on my external hard drive so maybe something got lost in the translation when I carried them over. Weird because the others are in the same folders as I did with Jackson. I guess I'll do them over.

I put your site in "My favorites" Comedian. I'll use it for future reference. Thanks bro!
