The Buccos!! Pirates have been the only baseball team I have ever loved. Lately its been rough but not as bad as the mid 80's. I have a mini shrine to Willie Stargell in my basement bar and was even lucky enough to have met and spoke briefly with him once. My latest highlight was to watch my 6yr old daughter ask for old #8 in t-ball and when asked why say "Its my Daddys and Wille Stagells number." Kind of took the other fathers back esp in the Midwest and Northern Indiana where Cub fans seem plentiful.

Mets are my #1 team
As are a strong second because they were the best team in baseball when i first started watching as an impressionable 9 year old kid, and now once again because of their trio of great young pitchers. |

P.S. - Yankee hater for life. |

Dodgers
Call me a bandwagon fan. I started following them after watching my first baseball game at the age of 8...Game 1 of the 1978 World Series

Well I hate to say this but I might only have a team for one last season....The TWINS
If they do get rid of the Twins then I'm done with modern baseball....I just cant see myself cheering for another team |

Wow, two Royals fans besides me. I thought I was the only one left (except Lowtax (don't ask)).
And I like the new uniforms. Oh, right, I really, really love to see the Yankees lose. If the Royals win and the Yankees win, it's an okay day. If the Royals lose and the Yankees lose, it's a pretty good day. If the Royals win and the Yankees lose, it's a fantastic day. Here's to 100 fantastic days this season!

The North side of Chicago is like that. The White Sox are from the South side, and isn't as friendly as the North side is. Most Cub fans hate the Sox, just because it's in Chicago. I root for both, unless it's a crosstown classic. Then I have to root for the big 3. |

I was a diehard Reds fan until they traded Tony Perez (I hold grudges), now I root for them, but don't get worked up over every game.
I root for the Cubs somewhat since my dad is a Cubs fan, but again, I don't care that much. |
