Crash When Beginning Draft

I have looked in the various forums in trying to locate this issue, but haven't been able to find anything on it.

1. What, specifically, were you doing when the problem occurred?

I was attempting to begin the draft and upon hitting 'Continue Draft', an error message appears asking me if I want to send an error report to Microsoft.

2. What happened? Was there an error message? If so, what was the specific message?

The error signature is as follows:

AppName: ootp2007.exe AppVer: 2.0.0.0 ModName: ootp2007.exe
ModVer: 2.0.0.0 Offset: 003e4b0a

3. Were you able to repeat the error with this same game? With another game? If so, what steps did you take?

I have encountered this problem with other leagues when attempting to act as a human manager. Whenever I click on 'Continue Draft', I receive the same error. I can load the same league and get the same error every time.

When simply simulating without controlling any team, the game runs past the draft without any problems.

4. If relevant, what do you think the program should have done?

n/a

5. What is your league configuration (fictional/historical, etc.)

The league is an 8 team fictional league with 3 levels of minors. I have had the problem with other league configurations as well.

6. Are you a Mac or PC user?

PC

Edit: I just found a thread on the issue (http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ghlight=draft), but the suggestions there do not solve the problem.

Hi there.

I'm very sorry your issue has sat here for so long without a response.

Us volunteers are a little on the burnt-out side right now! That's not an excuse, though, but let's see if we can make some progress, if you're still around after all this time...

It's surprising to hear that this sort of thing is repeatable for you, in multiple leagues. Very strange. Is there any way you could create a league, and get it to the point right before the draft, and then save the league and FTP it to us?

When you take over a team, are you taking over using the "Act As" feature, or are you actually hiring yourself as the manager of the team?
