Orval Graham has been added in 1939. I ran the draft before I remembered to create him, so I just signed him with the New York Knights as a free agent.
PLAGUE!! hasn't had free agency or trades since the inception, but I've decided to change that. There's a reason, of course.

1940 is around the corner, but I have a LOT to do before that season. There are multiple spots open in the latter part of the century, so feel free to sign up.

I got 2 players if all right (one for the 70s, one for the 80s). i got the names from some obscure short stories from my middle school English book way back when. (I then modified them into fictional players, with a whole different history and such). I'll post then shortly.

NICKNAME: Viking King NUMBER: 88 1st POSITION/DEFENSE: SS - 16 $32 2nd POSITION/DEFENSE: NONE 3rd POSITION/DEFENSE: NONE 4th POSITION/DEFENSE: NONE ARM (IF/OF/C): 19/0/0 $19 CONTACT: 90 $90 GAP POWER: 60 $60 HR POWER: 40 $40 EYE: 80 $80 AVOID K'S: 20 $20 SPEED: 15 $30 STEALING: 20 $40 RUNNING: 10 $20 HITTER TYPE: NORMAL SAC BUNT: 1 $1 BUNT FOR HIT: 5 $5 INJURY: Prone - $0 LOYALTY: None NEEDS WINNING TEAM: Yes LEADER: Some $1 CLUTCH: Normal $2 CONSISTENCY: Good $5 BIRTHDATE: 6/6/60 DEBUT YEAR: 1977 RATINGS %: 30 $5 Bio: The great grandson of former major league failure Einnor Ilitneg. Growing up in Iceland listening to his great grandfathers tales of major league stardom, he was challenged by him at an early age to match his greatest accomplishment... a no-hitter. At age 9 Gunnar moved the the US with his grandfather and settled in the city of Colton, CA. Gunnar tried out for the local little league team in 1970 and tried out to be a pitcher, much like his hero, grandpa Einnor. His rocket arm indeed resembled his grandfathers... as did his errant pitches. Of the 30 he threw the backstop could only catch 8. He was moved to Shortstop, and once on level ground he showed dramatic improvement and remained there ever since. While his arm is well known, his ability to strikeout is even better. In his senior year at Colton High, he racked up an amazing 78k's in 200 AB's. Whats even more incredible is his .500 average despite that number which lead to his decision in going pro. Despite these talents teams may be wary of his drinking habits, and his arrest record. While his grandpa Einnor was known for his much recognized drinking binge after his no hitter which led to a hospitalization, Gunnar has taken a different approach. After a golden sombrero in his state championships, Gunnar had a battle with the 151 bottle, and lost. In a drunken stupor he attempted to jump off a rooftop into a pool, and missed. While escaping with his life, his legs have been an injury issue ever since. When asked where he expects to go in the draft, Gunnar replied..."I dont care, whoever it is better pay me, cause ill be going to a winner in 6 years." |

Dang, we have our first player not old enough to drive.
![]() Seriously, Jamee, trying to give some friendly help here, but for Bunt for Hit Metsgeek is going on a 1-5 scale on that. So, you could 5 at $5. I also noticed you add up to $449 instead of $450. With $1 back from Bunt for Hit you would $448 with $2 left to spend. Sorry, not meaning anything by it, just trying to help you get the max out of your player.

Cheers. Added 2 points onto gap power. Going for a defensive shortstop but one who has quite a high average and double count, but very few homers.
