Looking for a few 6.5 owners
NOBS is a league that has a challenging financial model with a salary cap making dynasties very difficult to maintain resulting in a different world series champion in each of the last six seasons. There are currently five openings after we cleaned out some of the less active owners while we prepare for the offseason. Get in now before the draft and FA so you can start shaping a contender of your own vision.
http://www.nobs-online.com/ Teams open are SF, STL, DET, TEX and KC. Contact me (cameron) if you want by email (sctt503@yahoo.com) or by AIM at swishdoctor5. |

I just completed my first season with the league and if you're into fictional leagues, this is a good one! Quite a bit of history built up.

This is an fun and well-run fictional league. The philosophy of NOBS is "all baseball - no BS". We have a firm $80 million dollar salary cap to prevent the rich teams from dominating the competition. We've kept our rules simple and don't have non-OOTP supported features. We don't have things like feeder leagues, restricted free agents, franchise players, compensatory draft picks, participation points, or anything that is decided by the throw of a dice. If this sounds like your kind of league, then get on board now before the preseason activity begins.

If you are looking for a league with good
active albeit slightly owners, a even handed fair commish, straight forward and easy to follow rules and the chance to actually see your time rewarded with a ws win. Then this is the league for you. If however you are into draconian minutia, over the top GMs that are into stealing from the new guy and and teams that are so top heavy almost no amount of time and effort will lead to anything. Then I'm afraid this isn't the league for you.

This probably also isn't the league for you if you enjoy watching the commissioner's team win 100+ games every season. Our commish normally gets
and has finished over .500 only once in the past five seasons.

St. Louis has been claimed. Four teams are still available.

We should be starting our 2005 draft this weekend, monday at the latest depending on owner availability. Get on board now to grab one of these players, and begin the process of making the team your own:

NOBS is a fun league with a solid core of GM's and a very good commish. We are looking to add a handful of GM's for the upcoming season, so now would be a good time to join.
