Calling All Newbies
The North American Baseball Alliance (NABA) is offering a unique opportunity to anybody who is new to the OOTP community. Within the NABA universe is a Cuban League which runs totally independent of the NABA. By joining our Cuban League, you will be able to learn the ins and outs of online league play, without totally screwing up a "big league" organization. Also, NABA will be using its Cuban League as opposed to a waiting list. While learning how to import and export files, you can accumulate Participation Points that can be cashed in to help improve a NABA franchise should you eventually take control of one.
If you ahve always wanted to try online play, but never found the right platform or if you want to pick up a Cuban League team just to get on our wait list, please send an email to naba.commish@gmail.com with the following: Your Name AIM id (if you have one) Team preference (below) Teams currently available are: * Granma Alazanes * Las Tunas Magos * Pinar del Rio Vegueros * Santiago de Cuba Avispas * Havana Metropolitanos * Cienfuegos Camaroneros We are looking forward to hearing from you.

This is a great league to be a part of. It's very active, the commissioner is very fair, and the collection of GM's is great. It has really turned into more than just an online league we're in, but a community of online friends as well.
I myself was a newbie upon joining, but with the help of my fellow GM's and the methodical way the league approached getting started, I felt as though I was eased right in. I feel the Cuban League is both a wonderful alternative to a waiting list, and a great way for inexperienced GM's to get their feet wet. You'll get to be a part of our community, develop relationships with other GM's, and of course eventually take over one of the Major League teams. Contact the commissioner as long as there are spots available you'll certainly get your chance.

I should also mention that if you are an EXPERIENCED GM, you are also more than welcome to take part in the Cuban League which will serve as the NABA's unique waiting list.

This is my first league in a couple of years, but i've been involved in fantasy leagues for about 10 years. I've even ran an OOTP4 league for a while. The league is very well run and I am impressed with it so far. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, new or old.
Plus with the cuban league, you could still get a chance to interact with the entire league. It would just build a strong community. |

We've added our first GM to our Cuban Development/ Waiting List League. Get in now while there are still openings.
