Batting Practice Required

When you get a message from a scout saying a player requires more batting practice, how do you acheive this. The only way I can see is to demote the player down to the next level. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I'm fairly certain that the phrase is just filler to make it so that all of the negative scouting reports don't sound the same.

I'd love to be corrected if I'm wrong, however.

Doctor No is right- the message just means the player has taken a hit to his Potential ratings.

Development is linked to minor league level- if a player is in too challenging a league, or in a league to easy for him, he isn't as likely to develop well. Still, there is no way to give a prospect more batting practice.
