Long running historical league (in 9th season) has 4 vacancies

The BBDL started in the 1984 season and is currently mid way through 1992. Due to some long serving owners leaving due to work commitments (eg. military service), there are currently 4 vacancies in this well run league. Please read the league rules and contact the Commish (not me) if you are interested in one of the available teams. NB: The league uses coaches and scouts, and is currently using OOTP4, but will be changing over to OOTP5 at the end of the current season.

Teams available are -

NY Mets: 6.5 games back - Rafael Palmeiro, Robin Yount, Ryan Klesko, Tom Henke, Oil Can Boyd

Pittsburgh: 0.5 game back - Larry Walker, Tom Glavine, Andres Galarraga, Curt Schilling, Julio Franco, John Wetteland !!!

Kansas City: 2 games back - Bo Jackson, Jeff Bagwell, John Kruk, Steve Finley, Bret Boone

Minnesota: 11 games back - Kirby Puckett (check out his ratings!!), Kent Hrbek, Gary Gaetti, Frank Viola, Scott Radinsky

Website is at http://bbdl.ootp-leagues.com/bbdl.htm

Is this league planning to upgrade to OOTP5?

It's sad that leagues with no web pages and no credibility can fill 30 teams in a matter of days but quality leagues such as BBDL can go this long with openings

Perhaps they should relax the rule of one team per owner. That seems to work for some leagues.

No sooner said than done. I think they cover most of the last hundred years.

OK Mark ...
I'm interested if only because I'm in just one really good league right now (so I've got some time) and because my wife is from Adelaide. Yeah, no lie ... Go Crows and all that
I'd be interested in the Royals first, Twins or Pirates second and not interested in the Mets at all.

If you've got four already, add me to the waiting list. I'm an Indians and Cardinals fan particularly.

Here's my e-mail address ... Richnamanda@earthlink.net

RebelYell, you'll need to email the Commish (address is on website). I'm merely the league pimp :-)

I live in Adelaide these days, but I'm a Sydney boy, Go Swans !
