I've occasionally seen this behavior with user created roster sets. You should be able to search for the player to find out where he's at. If you see that he's on a roster that he's not actually showing up on, try running the computer manager on your entire organization.

I've had SOME crashes, but not enough to stress me out, especially since I back up everything that's important to me.
That said, the game itself doesn't have any different code from the demo, so if you had problems with the demo, it's possible you'll run into the same with the actual game. My advice: 1. Start small. Play some smaller leagues and kick the tires for a bit before you go embarking on anything huge. 2. Definitely have a backup plan in place. It's just smart, considering your experience with the beta. 3. If you have a specific idea for what you want to do, ask questions about it on the forums. In my experience leagues that are configured correctly from the get-go are inherently more stable than those in which lots of things are changed around after the fact. Just my observance though. 4. If you run into problems, ask on the forums. Good luck, we'll do our best to make this an enjoyable experience for you! Steve |

He was probably in the designated for assignment area of your team transactions. If that's the case, then you have to assign him. He won't automatically appear on any particular roster. The game does not presume to know what you want to do with the player once you acquired him.

Come on guys, have you even bothered to read any of my posts? Sorry, I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but man.. its like Im talking to a brick wall. Frustrating. (Yes,checking if he was designated for assignment was of course that was the first thing I checked, as I stated in 2 earlier posts in this thread. Thanks for the reply though, I do appreciate that you were trying to help) Anyways, Im just about to purchase the game, so thanks for all the replies and testimony. Im sure ill love it just like all the other ones. |

you should buy it. I have had a lot of crashes, but it still fun. I still Can't import any games from 6.5 or 2006, it just crashes the game everytime i click on the import button. Also i have had a lot leagues die with 'database corrupt' errors.

The only time I crash is completely random, and after my computer has been running without a reboot for three days or so ...

Most issues I have are when I try to create a (historical) league that is more then my laptop can handle (i.e. full minors/full reports). I've simmed out 1871-2007 (american majors with single minor league level) many times with no real issues (over clicking is my biggest problem, and thats user error!!!!), and have played out many games in various seasons.

The only major crash I have had was my 1945 Phillies bullpen relief work..... still trying to rebuild it. LOL
