WHBL moving to OOTP2007...

The WHBL a fictional league that is celebrating its 3rd anniversary(est. Summer of '04) and is finishing up its 10th season. The league is making the switch from 6.5 to 2007 at the end of this season, thus we have a few openings to fill since a few have decided they are not interested in playing with the 2007 version. We have a great core group of owners, most of which have been with us for quite some time, some of us have been playing together long before the WHBL was hatched, as we played in a High Heat league together.

The league is "talent only", which IMO provides a much more accurate feel to a real life GM job, since your basing your opinions on their potential and their performance rather than having set ratings that tell you exactly how good the player is.

We sim on a M-W-Sat schedule, using a 7-8-7-8-7-8 game rotation.

We have a very lively forum and some fantastic storytellers in the Team Reports forum.

As I stated earlier, we are currently running the league in 6.12/6.5, but we only have a few sims left before the end of the final season using 6.5. Discussions are currently underway about the conversion to 2007 after the season regarding what options and rules will be in place.

If you like what you see, but want to change your logo, you're free to do so. There are a ton of fantastic logo designers here on the OOTP boards, or you can design your own.

League has moved to the playoffs of the final season with 6.5...The conversion to v.2007 and the offseason are soon to follow....

Due to some restructuring, Ciudad Juarez is now taken. However, Buenos Aires is still up for grabs.

Rio de Janeiro is also now available for the taking.

Unfortunately, the guy who had taken over Buenos Aires had a big computer crash and will not be with us this season, so Buenos Aires is now available once again...

Getting ready to start FA next week, so its a good time to jump aboard if your interested...
