Wills/Johnson - SHOBOX (spoilerish)

After watching a very uneventful fight between these two, i'm not impressed with Wills or Johnson. The most positive thing you could say is that Johnson has fast hands but he has little punching power and throws combinations in spurts but it's mostly just doubling up the jab. Wills has pop behind his punches but he came into the fight soft and has poor conditioning and for the most part looked terrible after having a pretty decent first round.

Johnson won a wide UD on all cards.

If Johnson had a better attitude along the lines of Eddie Chambers I would root for him because I like his boxing style. Sticking his tounge out at Wills is unprofessional. Someone in the top ten will be able to take away his jab by catching it in his right glove and countering. Johnson is most likely Timor Imbragimov or Quick Tillis.

Yeah ... I'm not a fan of Chambers but I was watching this fight and thinking how Chambers would tear Johnson apart. Wills looked gassed half-way through the first round.

Good win for Johnson but I don't see him beating any Top 10 HW's.

Like Farhood said .. he's more Larry Donald than Larry Holmes.

Johnson has no class whatsoever. He continuily mocked Wills and kept talking to the referee and people outside the ring. Chambers and Povetkin would beat him like a drum. I can't seen Johson being more than a top twenty heavyweight.
