Tried to use real world roster, game wants me to reinstall OOTP2007...

I went "game preferences" and selected the real world mod and when I restarted the program it gives me this

"The user data folder could not be found. Please reinstall OOTP Baseball 2007"

If anyone could get to me on AIM about it, my name is F250MustangGuy
...or here is fine too

EDIT: I uninstalled it and re downloaded it. I still have this problem. Please help. I just paid 35$ for a game I haven't been able to play.

First, while you will get an answer to your problem here, it's a weekend in the summer, so you shouldn't really expect volunteers to have a reply for you within a few hours. In any case, it sounds like a problem with your data location, and anyone who might be able to answer your question will likely need to know what operating system you're using (Mac, Vista, XP?).

I think I'm starting to understand your problem at least. I take it you changed the Custom User Data Path in OOTP Preferences (there is no 'Game Preferences')? Have you tried pressing the 'Reset' button on that screen, then quitting and restarting?
