202 Roster export error - Page 2

No, I'd have to put Paradox Entertainment and VP Games there. These guys are about in the middle of the pack.

Well, I've done some testing and no matter what I try, my export always works perfectly. My guess is that there is some software or computer setup that is causing the error. The fact that it is happening to several people across leagues and ISPs suggests that there is some computer specific issue at work. Unfortunately, pinpointing what could be causing it might be difficult unless Markus can provide some insight on what that error code truly means.

I'd like to include a small update here.

The only GM having trouble with this in our league, is not having trouble with it in his other league(s).

It doesn't seem to be a server issues, since all other (29) GMs can export. And I'm not sure what it says that he can export fine to other leagues, but not ours.

Not sure how much it helps, but also didn't want to see it get blown off as an end user computer problem, when it may not be.

Allstar500, are you still having trouble with this issue? Have you tried deleting one of your league files and re-downloading a fresh copy from scratch, then immediately exporting? I couldn't determine whether or not that had been done.

Yeah, he's tried that. It's my league that he's having issues with. Again, I still have no idea what that error number means.

I have no idea.. Im willing to try everything... I have been just emailing the file in.. but last week i had a commish in 1 league tell me that isnt working (the 5 emails to him since then havent worked either).. I dont have an old laptop and dont have any other issues really

It actually 2 leagues that im in.. Maelstrom and WBF... the only 2 that im in. It did originally work (exporting)... now its not... I have tried uninstalling the game completely (and league files) and then reinstalling.. with no luck.. The -202 is a minor leauge thing.. i just dont know WHAT with the minor leagues

You don't happen to have a minor league affiliate with an empty transaction list attached to it, do you?

I just checked his team and I don't see anything strange on any of his affiliates.

Not strange, per se. Just empty. An affiliate that has made no transactions.

Is this still the case (i.e. that you can't even email your exports in)?

I can't come up with any reasons why the export files themselves would be messed up.

His emailed exports are at least working in our league. Can't speak for his other league. That's what has me guessing it is something to do with his PC. But I'm not sure how any PC setting could affect his export.

Just a shot in the dark here, but have you tried using the final patch yet to see if that resolves your problem?

I am having the same problem and, as far as I know, I am the only one in our league having the problem. Ever since installing the latest patch, I get the -202 error when I try to export and when I try to download the league file in-game, I get the message that it could not establish a connection with the server. I have tried granting permission specifically in the firewall (I use McAfee), as well as turning the firewall off, nothing seems to make a difference. I was able to e-mail my last export to the commissioner and, that ran fine, but it worries me that at least one other person in this thread apparently started having problems even with e-mailed exports. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
