Playing with Real 2007 Rosters

Several people have now released real 2007 roster sets. Each roster set maker has different ideas about what makes a good roster set, so be sure to research the sets before choosing one.

neither link is working for me....

I thought it might be because I was using Fire Fox but they did not work in Exp either.

I want to start a 2007 League w/

1. 2007 Opening Day Rosters
2. Accurate historical stats
3. Accurate Team Names, Stadiums, etc.
4. Player Faces

Is this possible? If yes, can I get a little help setting it up. Past versions seemed much easier, now I am reading about databases and getting slightly confused.

Yes, it is possible, the 2 above roster sets should have 1 and most of 3, I don't know if they put the real staduims in the sets, you'd should check over on the mod form to get what's in each one. either way you'd download a stadium pic set and you may have to edit all the staduims to be real.

I don't know about the set so for 2 you'd have to check each set to see if they includeing historical stats.

and 4 all you'd have to do is download a face pack and install it, see mod form.

Cubbyfan/haveband's roster release is imminent, and should include most of the above. It will have full stats for active players, but the first release will not have a complete history (so you won't have Babe Ruth on the leaderboards). That will apparently be included in the next release. It will be released as a saved game, so no worries about databases and such. See the Rosters section of the Mods forum for updates.

Can someone please explain to me step by step how to load the real names into the 2007 game?
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it!

I am using Windows Vista

1. Download CubbyFan's .zip file
2. Unzip the MLB07.lg file to Documents->Sports Interactive->OOTP Baseball 2007 ->data->saved_games
3. Start OOTP
4. Load League and choose MLB07
