Pennant Chase Baseball League opens it's doors! (20 team fictional league)

Pennant Chase Baseball League is a 20 team online fictional league. Currently we have 11 owners, and are looking for 9 more extremely active GM's. We've handpicked the core of our league, and have a mix of hardcore OOTPer's and passionate baseball people. We have beta testers, a sports writer, and a php programmer to help run our message board. One of the best features of the league will be the message board, we are using vBulletin, the very same forum software that OOTP uses.

If you join this team, you'll be joining a league on the ground level. Every person who joins gets to completely customize their organization (Major League team/city, Minor League teams/cities, and even your stadium). There will be a fantasy draft to kick things off, so this will truly be YOUR league.

In order to be a member of this league, you must own OOTP 2007.

I'd like to add that this is going to be a fantastic league. A lot of personal funds have been put into this project to get it off the ground, and with the help of the amazing Robster and the owners we have on board, it's going to be an outstanding league.

Adding more to what has already been said:

The league is based in 1993, and will stay that way forever with its financials and equivilancies. We wanted to hit the era of baseball before the homerun boost.

The forum is currently being modded by our great PHP programmer Doug, so hopefully in a day or two we'll have that completely finished.

We're going to spend the first two weeks running our initial draft, that way we can test a few more things (feeder leagues) and give OOTP time to come out with a new patch if any bugs are found. We also want to add a few more features to the league as time goes along.

This one goes back to (I believe) 1999 with the old Sierra OnLine Baseball Pro '98 program. Seems that the links still work, I was suprised.

Thank you for all those who showed interest in the league, as we had an overwhelming 20 applicants for just 5 spots. All applicants should have recieved an email from either myself or Robster, so if you didn't please let me know so we can contact you.

We'd like to add that there is a waiting list on the forum, and we will be expanding to 24 teams after a couple of seasons. Please register on the forum and hang around with us, as it will give you a better chance of getting into the expansion clubs.

The PCBL is heading into the playoffs for our first season, and we have a vacancy:

The Miami Knights are available, and are a team that was hit with a lot of bad luck and are in need of rebuilding. They were struck with a lot of injuries and talent hits, causing the team to go 72-90 in their first season and are in need of a face lift.

The amateur draft and free agency are coming up right after the playoffs, so now is the time to put your stamp on the team and move them in the right direction.

We have a wonderfully designed vbulletin forum, great logos/jerseys for every team and minor league team, great All-Star game history from our Indiana owner, Herb, and much more.

We did a complete 40 round initial draft, showing how dedicated owners are to the league. The league is set for years of successful seasons, so if interested in joining (you must own OOTP:2007) please email me at blitzkrieg.bombers@gmail.com. It's been a wonderfully fun four months, and things will only get better as we build history.

The PCBL looks like an absolutely amazing league through all the time and effort you guys have put into it. I would love to take over the Knights and become a part of your league. Thanks Squid. We moved to a new server because we didn't have enough space on our old server, and are now on a much larger scale server, meaning we can add more stuff to the league as we get more history.
