WBF - 15 seasons & counting - needs 3 owners
The World Baseball Federation has been going strong for 15 seasons (2004 thru 2018). We have just converted to OOTP 2007 for the 2019 season and we need 3 owners to guide teams through this year's campaign and into the future.
http://www.wbfbaseball.com/wbfhome The available teams are: Brisbane - http://www.wbfbaseball.com/leaguefil...ms/team_1.html London - http://www.wbfbaseball.com/leaguefil...s/team_17.html Morocco - http://www.wbfbaseball.com/leaguefil...s/team_13.html We have a strong, dedicated base of owners and we are all looking forward to the upcoming season - the first with OOTP 2007. If you are interested in taking over one of these teams, please let me know. commish@wbfbaseball.com Opening Day is Thursday (7/19). We'd love to have you on board to start the season! Thanks, Doug http://wbfbaseball.com |

If you want consistency and evenness in commissionership, this is the place. Going on about 3 RL years with this league and other than vacation time, every sim is right there. He probably doesn't get enough credit from the GMs.

I could not have said it better... and its very true. A great commish and an active core of owners who love trading. If you are looking for a well run established league, THIS IS IT |

yes, this in an A+ league to be involved with.
As others have said, Doug is one of the finest commishes around. His communication is top notch and sims are timely and efficient. As a member of multiple leagues over the years, this is the only one I still belong to and that's a testament to Doug. Also - the core and long running owners are excellent. Simply put - this league is a blast to be a part of. So, whether you're looking for your first OOTP League or if you're an experience OOTP'er just looking for another one, I highly recommend the WBF. You won't be disappointed. |

Solid looking league and a nice web site. My compliments to the designer.
A couple of questions regarding league rules. With the move to OOTP 2007 are you now allowing contract extensions and in season FA signings in game? Off season cash expenditures - with OOTP 2007 it's not really possible to change durability ratings. Has this been eliminated? |

Thanks for the compliments. The answer to each of your questions is Yes. With the transition to OOTP 2007, some things are still fluid and we are working through the kinks of what can and can't be accomplished within the game and what existing rules of the league need to be modified to coexist with the feature set of the new game. Thus, I am still in the process of updating the Rules page to reflect all this.
Thanks for your interest in the league and for your compliments on the site. If you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask away. As an update - London & Morocco have been filled. Still looking to fill the open Brisbane position. Thanks, Doug commish@wbfbaseball.com |
