USBA (Member of TSW): 1 Opening

The USBA has 1 current vacancy in the Phoenix Scorchers. The Scorchers are currently in a rebuilding stage and having some very promising prospects from the past couple drafts. Here is a direct link to thier webpage: http://www.usbaonline.net/leaguereport/team1.html

Here is a bit about the USBA:
The USBA is long running fictional league currently in it's 21st season. We began with OOTP 3 and moved through versions 4, 5, 6, and now 6.5. We are currently working on going to OOTP 2007 (which is why I'm posting this in the 6.5 and 2007 forums). History is a very important part of the USBA, and we don't want to loose one stitch of it in the switch over. That is why we are taking the time to do it right and making sure nothing is left out in the transition to 2007. One of our original owners is working on the database as we speak.

The USBA just joined forces with TotalSportsWorld.net to form one of the largest and best gaming communities. TSW is continuing to grow by adding leagues from sports other than baseball. It's just a fun place to go look around. TSW was founded by Mark Cooley (cooleyvol) and the website can be reached here: www.totalsportsworld.net

Here's a few more specifics about the USBA:
- We run three sims per week with each sim consisting of 7 game days.
- We have a full cato history
- We have a full All-Star game history, probably the only one of its kind
- Most of our owners are mature adults, many of whom have been with their team since inception. They are easy going and reliable.
- The USBA has always used fictional players and always will.
- We have plenty of other extras including player photos, votes for All-Stars, awards, and hall of Famers, and several league writers who pop in from time to time with insightful articles and reports.

The USBA is also sporting a brand new website: www.usbaonline.net Feel free to drop by and check everything out.

If you feel you would be interested the USBA, either drop me a PM or email me at michael@dills.us. Team logos and team nicknames are changeable, as long as they stay within the flavor of the league. Thanks for reading!

- Mike

Phoenix is still open...Swan is on my list for when we make the switch to 2007. We will probably have one more season with 6.5 then make the move to 2007. So if you have 6.5, Phoenix is still up for grabs right now.
