Defensive Substitutes in tie game?

How do I get the cpu to stop making defensive substitutions when it is tied in the 9th inning? I only want to substitute better defense when my team is leading in the late innings.

I play in a league where we sim 4 games per night and can't play the games out myself. I have setup the defensives subs I want in the depth chart, but it doesn't make sense to take out Eddie Collins in a 1-1 tie in the 9th, which is what happens.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't think there is a way. There are no defensive substitution options on the team strategy pages. Maybe just try taking out the defensive substitutes out of your depth chart and see what happens - though I don't have much faith in that working.

Edit - But remember, the game has no idea who Eddie Collins is. All it sees is ratings.
