computer trades

I have started a historical league in 1966 as the Baltimore Orioles manager. no dummy I !
1. Can I assume that the computer trades between two computer managed teams will mean that they will not continue through the years as the same teams they were in real life? That must be the case since I could choose not to carry out Orioles trades that occurred in RL.

2.In that regard what happens in future years, where I assume players new to the major leagues are added in when they first appeared for the team they started with?

1) The AI will not follow real life. It makes it's own decisions.

2) That depends on what you set the game to do. You have the option to either import players to their correct historical teams or to put them in the amateur draft so they can wind up anywhere.
