Okay just got stats back in, working on a few other things but we should FINALLY have another release tonight with contracts and coaches (sheesh).

While I'm working on it though, has anyone seen how stats are working in the lower minors?

Hey Cubby, I downloaded the 2.5 version before it was pulled back and didn't see my boy Brad Lincoln in there. I thought you had him created for that release...any chance he'll be in tonight's version?

Thanks for all the hard work and hope your paper went well...

Cubby, I just have a question for you.

I have been working on adding a HS Feeder and a Collegiate Feeder league into your v2.1 Rosters.

I have the HS Feeder all set and I'm most of the way done with the College Feeder league (just fixing color schemes of the 112 teams at this point.)

Just was wanting to know what is going to be in this latest version that will be different from v2.1? I didn't know if you were going to be implementing in those feeder leagues as well. If not and there really isn't going to be much difference in this new one as opposed to v2.1... I'll probably just stick to what I have. So I just wanted to know what the additions and/or changes to it would be if you get time please, thanks!

Chris

Chris -- if you have all of that setup, is there anyway I could con you into sending it to me and I could just merge the two files so we all have the best of both worlds?

To answer your ? I'm trying to get these ages fixed for the most part, and get most of the Top 30 finished finally.

Any chance an MLB/Minors only set will be released tonight or in the near future at least?

Thanks!

Can't remember the URL off the top of my head, but if you go to the OOTPB2007: Mods forum and look for the thread "Players editor" or "Players importer" - that'll have the latest link.

If there's any problems with it, it'll have to wait till next week now. Off on a riding for the disabled holiday with my daughter in a few hours till next Tuesday.

Good luck with the release Cubby - look forward to playing with it next week

When the roster is relatively stable, give me a shout if you want me to host it.

Alright, going through to try and fix birthdates for the last time (hopefully) now, so after that I'll be posting. This may take a bit, but we'll have a release tonight.

A lot of people have been asking when we'll have our first "stable" release, ie. something you can start a league/franchise with, and I'd say the release after the release tonight will be it. While I'll keep adding on things after that, the next release will have college/HS feeders with some of the real draftees, Top 30 completely done, and all of the things that will be in tonight's fix as well (fixed ages, salaries, coaches, etc.)

Quite honestly I think you can start a franchise with any of these and have a blast, but if you're starting a serious league, I'd wait until the next release and I'll jam everything I can into it to make it league ready.

Also going to be trying some different player development mods on the new file, so give it a look and see if some of our issues with prospects coming along too quickly is alleviated.

I just got off the phone with Chris and his internet is shot...great timing as he has all the college logos, locations, and color schemes done correctly. He plans to save a template to upload whenever his internet gets back online. As for the High School we made 50 teams many of which are AAU travel ball teams...atleast the teams from Eastern half of the US and I couldn't find the AAU leagues from the west so I had to settle for just regular high school names. So just got ahead and release your updated version when you get it done and he will upload the feeder leagues to you when he finally b*tches enough to his internet company.

The lurkers of the forums offer you a giant "mucho gracias" Cubby. Major props to you and the guys who have helped you. It means a lot to the rest of us who sat by quietly instead of whining for the last four months.
