Play repeated in PBP
I am probably just hallucinating again, but on occassion I see PBP results like
"fly out (4)" followed immediately with "fly out (4) into DP". This may not be exact wording, but that's the general idea. I will have to try a screen shot next time it happens. I wonder if anyone else has seen this. |

Occasionally. Are you playing out your games or simming them? Are you seeing this at the very end of the game or an inning?

I play out my games. I see them in some games and not others and there is no particular time that I see them that I have noticed, ie, any particular inning or whatever. Sometimes the PBP is repeated exactly, as in... "fly out (7)" followed by "fly out (7)" but I do think I see it most often on double plays with the 1st result not mentioning DP then the next one does. I'll get a screenshot next time I see it. I haven't been into the game in the past few days. |

Yes I have. I have a screenshot also but I have not been able to get online thru wireless for some reason lately so I can't upload it. Right now I'm on the company computer. As soon as I can get on thru my laptop I will upload the shot.

I haven't been into the game much lately, but I do have a screen shot from the last game I played on June 23. Here it is. And this is with the latest patch.

I've seen the repeat several more times. The last was in the top of the 1st inning, so I can't say there is any consistency to when it happens. I am still checking on this, but I think it happens only on fly balls or lineouts. If you need more screen shots, let me know.

Here's a shot of the fly out, then lineout into DP. This was a hit & run play. I don't remember if the other situations like this were also H&R.

As a longshot...maybe this is related to this issue or one of those I linked in post #5 of that thread?

I don't play pitch by pitch so that can't be it. I don't hold the button down either and I don't push the button again until after the play is done scrolling on the screen. The repeats come as I'm sitting here reading the screen. I do have it set for quick results if that matters. I have no clue if it would happen with the full text results. |

This has been marked as something that will be fixed for the next full release of the game.

All right, I'm a little confused, I confess. What setting are you using or have toggled that allows the location (log file / ball direction) to be displayed on the pbp screen?
