Post New Draft Tool

Just to let you know that I sent this tool to Steve and as soon as he will have time to post it, he will let you know.

This new version is working with OOTP3, OOTP4, OOTP5, STB, STB2K3.

I did not include a setup.exe this time. This way it will take less time to download.

You can now have up to 200 rounds and 70 picks by round.

Enjoy it.

Thanks

You can put 70 times the same team if you want in the same round.

Pierre - From everyone at FOBL, thanks. While having a 36-team league is beneficial when it comes to wife-swapping at our annual convention and pig roast, it has been increasingly nettlesome come draft time. Your new utility allows us to have our fried twinkie(tm) and eat it too, so to speak.

Wind. Wings. You.

(Meaning, we love you...in case that got lost in translation.)

Pierre, out of curiousity does the utility store the "correct" draft order. (I.E. order by record without trades)

My one minor annoyance with the old utility is you had to remember the actual order when you got to a round without trades. If we could store that order... and just recall it in the utility after each round IMO it would be much easier and quicker.

Just thought I'd make that suggestion if it wasn't in there already...

This is a good suggestion, let me work on something.

Can you beleive that, just create a new utility 10 min ago and I have to make a patch. lol

At some point OOTP will have a full minor league setup with rookie leagues, short season leagues and multiple Class A leagues for each team.

I look forward to that day with great anticipation. At that point a 60-100 round draft each season will be the norm for OOTP. Drafting a Mike Piazza type talent in the 60th round would be extremely cool.

Just sent the patch to Steve.
You are now able to save the draft order and recall it.

(Joe, can you send me your email again)
Thanks

Just go in File/Open and locate your *.LG directory
Than you will see the teams order for your next draft.

In the top:
If you want to add more round, just change the Total number of round.
You dont have to change the Round number field unless you know what you are doing.
Select the team number to pick first (usually 1)

Than use drag and drop to change team name where you want and press "Save" make sure to make a backup of Draft.dat before

Okay I am just starting a new league O5B...I am asking these questions for my off-season, and during the season traded picks. Once the rookie draft comes up, how do I go about this? Do I save it and import it into the game or how do I do that?
