Photo/FaceGen Problems

Just got the game and love it. I'm not very technically oriented, however, and would like some plain english help.

I downloaded Pro4's photos from Padresfan's website to use in an existing game. I put them in the \my documents\sports interactive\ootp baseball 2007\data\photos directory.

That did not do anything from what I can tell. I fiddled around in the game options and ended up creating a bunch of fictional pictures for my 2007 game. I would prefer to have the real pictures over nothing, but would rather have nothing than fictional pictures for actual players in my existing game.

Sooo.....

1. Is it possible to import the actual pictures into my existing game? If so, how (assume I need it spelled out for me...)?

2. If it is not possible to use actual pictures, can I delete all of the fictional pictures? If so, how?

Thanks for any help.

To clarify, it is a game with 2007 rosters--also from Padresfan's page. Thanks.

Load your photos in here:

\My Documents\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\photos

The next time you load your game (Is that the step you are missing?), the player photos will load IF there is an exact match of player name to photo file name.

When this happens, the game chooses the player name file over the FaceGen file (e.g., "player_270") that it created for him, so there's no reason to delete the FaceGen pictures. On the other hand, if you want nothing but real pictures in your game, set it for No Fictional Pictures, and go to this folder and delete all the FaceGen pictures that you find:

My Documents\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\saved_games\[your game name].lg\news\html\images

Again, some of this may not register until you reload your game.
