Manager / Bench Coach Swapping Roles ?

I recently began a fictional league and noticed that all the managers & bench coaches listed in the coaches search main screen have reversed roles when viewing in each teams personnel tab.

Anyone else see anything like this?

Can you post a screenshot, please? When I look at the Staff Search list, both managers and bench coaches are simply listed as "Position: Manager"...

Are you using the latest patch? I believe that this was an issue with some earlier versions of the game.

Every single team in my league is like this. It shows the Mgr listed and the BC listed but on all teams these roles are reversed. From the screen above and viewing the ratings you can see it makes no sense. All are like this.

Yeah, that one was TT 3116. Looks like it may not be altered this time around. Sorry.

Was that league started in a version prior to the latest patch, or is it perhaps an imported league? In a freshly started league it seems to look like this:

Edit: Oh...you're also saying that the way they're listed in the Team Personnel page, the supposed manager is always the clearly less qualified guy of the two?

That's an interesting point. When I was looking at this thread last night, I called up the FBL quickstart game and verified that for every one of the 16 teams, the manager and bench coach were reversed as to their normal occupation and the job that they were in. However, when I checked my newly created league, this was not the case. Perhaps it's already been fixed and OP was using one of the quickstarts that came with the unpatched game?

Let's say what I supposed in the thread above is accurate, and it's imbedded in quickstarts and templates that were created before one of the patches. In that case, I would say that you are OOL, unless the problem corrects itself as you advance the game.

In that regard, recall that FBL ("Fictional Single" quickstart game, to be accurate) that I looked at regarding this problem. I advanced the game a couple of years to allow for manager/coach turnover, and in several instances there were managers in manager jobs and bench coaches in bench coach jobs. There were still flip-flops and I could not tell whether these were the originals or new situations, but don't forget that any manager can bench coach and any bench coach can manage in this game.

I was just reassured not to still see the universal flip-flop situation that you had pointed out. So maybe you are not OOL after all.
