Why can't I patch my Mac install to 2.0.2?

Powerbook G4 with the 2.0.1 original setup files. When I patch to 2.0.2 the game won't start. The screen blinks but the game never starts. I've seen a couple threads discussing this but I have yet to find a solution.

What's the answer?

I had the same problem last week. I completely trashed all the OOTP files then reinstalled. Then ran the patch. That worked for me.

I had the same issue on a Mac, but it was because I hadn't pointed the patch to the game itself, only to the hard drive containing the game. Patching created a second icon that appeared to be the OOTP game, and opening it caused the blink and return to desktop. All worked fine when I directed the patch to the right location- I didn't need to trash or reinstall anything.

So I ended up having to trash and reinstall everything to get the patch to work, but now the .lg file I'm trying to access is being called corrupt, even though it works fine on the same version of PC OOTP 2007.

Do any other leagues work on your Mac? What if you create a new one, shut down OOTP, then open it back up and try to load the new league?

everything works fine except when I copy a .lg file from PC 2.0.2.53 to Mac 2.0.2.53

I honestly haven't tried other leagues, but I'll check that tonight.
