Problems with Rosters
I have downloaded the rosters from Airmen and have tried to use them in the game, but everytime I try, I can never get them to work. Do I need to buy winzip or could somebody simplify the process of actually implementing the rosters to the game? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm a huge baseball fan and this game sounds incredibly fun. It just stinks when you dont know how to use computers properly.
Thanks Max |

unzip the file to C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\saved_games
You could use winzip or anything you want I think. |

You can download winzip or winrar for free.

If you are rolling with XP than you don't need anything. XP has it's own unzipping...you could just drag the .lg file to the destination I mentioned above.

So I place the downloaded file in C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\saved_games. I think I did that correctly. Whats next? When and how do I activate or use them? Is there a specific league I need to pick? Basically what do I do next? I've tried to play, but cant get the rosters to show up.
Thanks for you help so far. |

If the .lg folder is in your Saved Games folder, and the file is unzipped, then you'll see it when you choose 'Load Saved Game' from the Game menu in OOTP. If you don't see the league there, it's either still zipped (in which case it won't be a folder at all), or it's in the wrong location.

Here is the path to mine. C:\Documents and Settings\Jeffrey\My Documents\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\saved_games I click on My Documents, then Sports Interactive, the OOTP Baseball 2007, then data, then saved_games to get to my save game location. Of course, the path might be different if you're using Vista - somebody with Vista can confirm that, though.
Look in C:\Users\(YOU)\Documents\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\saved_games And, as stated above, you need to unzip the downloaded file - XP and higher have that capability built-in. Last edited by eriqjaffe; 07-03-2007 at 08:47 PM. |
