Sportsnet is reporting that Justin Morneau may have a cracked sternum after a collision at home plate. That could hurt the Twinkies if he is out for a while

I keep reading "small bruise on his lung" which is better than a cracked sternum

Hell, Morneau could be wheeled out in a hospital bed and still manage to hit a 3-run bomb off of the Sox' bullpen.

OK. I'm not saying I want Santana to leave. But, if he DID leave, I hope he goes to the NL so I can see him bat more often.

Sing to the tune of "Here Come the Men in Black":

Here comes the man-who-doesn't-want-to-throw-off-speed-pitches-and-seems-to-have-a-really-bad-attitude-although-he-also-has-some-good-potential-it's-just-to-bad-he-thinks-he's-better-than-he-is. Matt Garza to the bullpen. *Repeat first line* Chris Heintz gets demoted.

I'm going to a game on Friday, couple questions, it's a doubleheader and I'm going to the night game, do you think Mauer will play? Second, any idea who's pitching? ESPN.com says Bonser, but for some reason I think it's gonna be Garza.

I dont see Bonser pitching, probably Baker and Garza like you were thnking. Mauer will likely catch the Baker game and DH the Garza game. Its hard to detimine who will pitch the later game at this point.

Pretty sure its Garza, although he might be pitching the day game. I'm 99.9% sre Garza is pitching one of them.

I assume you guys have also already voted for Neshek a couple hundred times. Do it! He's a good kid who deserves to go!

Garza was called up for bullpen use. I doubt he starts.

Sure, but he was also called up to start one of the doubleheaders. Primary reason was for bullpen, but the doubleheader was the clincher.

Well Foxsports.com is reporting that Johan's agent has asked for a 25million per year deal. It was at an informal meeting with the Twins. Of course we would NEVER be able to afford that kind of salary, so it looks as though this could be his last year as I see Ryan trading him sometime next year instead of letting him walk for free.

From Sportscenter...

The Twins have scored more runs against the White Sox in the last 2 games than the Vikings scored in the 2 games against the Bears!!!

Sounds reasonable. Pujols will probably be looking for at least 30 mil per annum when his time comes.

Let's just say last night's game was the most amazing Twin's game I have ever been to.

They're lucky that missing extra point didn't cost them the game.

Wrong game, the Sox would have had to put up a couple of TDs late to win the second game.
