DFA/Waiver guidance

This is probably not appropriate for this forum. Perhaps a moderator can correct me. I am looking for guidance from OOTP2007 commissioners. I have a league filled and about to start. We will be doing 7-day sims. Could somebody recommend appropriate waiver and DFA durations. Do you set them at 7 days and 10 days respecively or do you go 3 and 10 as OOTP2007 has the "pullback" option?

3 and 10 is what is used in real life, so most leagues aim for that.

I thought that too, and maybe I'm thinking too much into this but if a GM exports a file putting a player on waivers/DFA and I'm simming 7 days, wouldn't that player clear waivers before any other GM had a chance to make a claim on him?

Sorry, I should have read your post more carefully. Yes, 7 day waiver periods would seem to be the only solution.
