Duplicate Player History

I may have caused this myself, but am at a loss to repair the damage. I had a player that was on a fictional team and was a very good one. I traded him pre-deadline to dump his salary on a down year(batting .260). He played out that season and the next w/ his team team. He signed a monster contract with a defunct team(Short Season A believe it or not that I had "retired/deleted"). I had the entire league dumped before this happened. I followed him since he had been a product of my team. I saw him retired 2 seasons later and wondered what had happened and found all of this out.

No big deal...I thought that he might get picked up and still have some life in him so I unretired him. Well he didn't get picked up and re-retired ~6 months later on 1/1/2009 and was inducted into the hall of fame.

Now for the really weird part...all of his stats are doubled. Every season he has double what he "really" had.

So...any way to fix that?

Not until Markus allows you to edit stats in history...which has been on my wish list since I first found this game, so I'm not holding my breath.

Khrog, in which version were your unretired players' stats doubled?

I have encounter the exact same problem, I'm currently runnning the latest version....

For one of my leagues, I was on the beta 2nd patch.

This issue has been claimed fixed for the next patch. If after installing the next patch (once it is released), you continue to observe this behavior, please post to that effect in Tech Support along with the TT number above. Thanks.
