gambo database question

i just took over league that was using laham as database and i switched it to gambo

we are in 1915 and next year will be 1916 and i noticed that rogers hornsby should have been in last draft and he was not

how do i add him or even find him to change him to come into league in 1916???

any thoughts???

The original Lahman DB and the Gambo DB will have different debut years for alot of players. Lahman has the players debut year as the year he actually had his 1st major league game, where as Gambo's DB generally put a players debut a couple of years earlier (and adjusts the ratings) to when a player first became a professional (or something to that effect). Its not going to happen to Hornsby only, it will happen with alot of guys.

To get Hornsby into the next draft (assuming you arent to a point where the draft class has been loaded already), go into the "master.csv" file and change his debut year to 1916. You can do it in Excel or a word editor like Notepad
