I should feel good .....
but I don't. So, I'm gonna rant.
I started a hist. league (1900), and one of my house rules I am making myself play by is to switch teams every 15 years (to the worst team). My first 15 went great (with the A's). 6 championships with 10 appearances (including 9 straight). My second 15 with the Braves, not so good. I kept thinking it was a good team, but not so much. Seemed to get hit every year with 4 or 5 key, long term injuries; and I averaged a 5th place finish (8 teams). I only made the post season once (and snuck in that time, and rightly got swept in the WS to Ruths Yankees). Now I just finished the 2nd year of dynasty #3 (with the Indians). As expected at this stage of my play, we stink; and I'm building. But the Braves just won the WS, after finishing 2nd last year. Grrrrr. That was the team I built. Why wouldn't those punks do it for me ! To add a little fuel, the game doesn't understand it, and I've been demoted from "Great GM" (what I was in Philly) to "Good GM". |

Ouch.
Trade for the key players on the Braves.
