My crack at some square logos

Here are some square logos I did for my fictional league. Comments and critiques would be welcomed

Excellent work.

What decides if a person/league uses a circle logo or a square logo?

Thanks!

It is just personal preference if one uses square or circular logos. Of course, I added quite a bit of logos in the circular format as do a lot of other logo makers here.

This is why I am deciding to tackle some square versions

This is really good stuff, silvam. There aren't enough Square logos out there.

Good idea silvam. Square logos have really gone by the wayside.

Silvam, you might be careful using logos from the designers at chriscreamer.com without permission. I believe that Tiger logo is from that board. They don't look kindly on such things.

Just some advice.

Oooh, yeah, well, I get almost all of the logos I use from cephasjames' photobucket. I know Chris Creamer's site and I know I didn't get that there.

I certainly wouldn't want to start any copyright arguments here. I'll take that one off then.

WARNING: Terrible math pun ahead!!!

I didn't measure them, but they appear to be perfect squares! Otherwise they would be rectangles.

Thanks, but I doubt I'll do all of them. I could be enticed to do some by request though.

Superb work.

Really like the Pelicans.

I used to go to Pelican Stadium in New Orleans in the early fifties and watch Southern Association games there.

Silvam:

Question:

Does the game chop off logos?

Will all of the square logos be visible in the game?

I have never put any logos in V2006...didn't play it, just used it for test leagues.

I am waiting for the final patch for V2007 before I set up my ultimate universe complete with logos, photos and such.

Hey Eugene!

Thanks for the compliments and I can say with certainty that the game doesn't chop off square logos. You will see them all in their complete splendor (although I have a personal gripe that the logos are re-sized too small in a lot of screens)

The thin border is quite appealing, well both style are nice.
