This thread is getting old.
As I said in an ealier post that I'm not offended (and I am African-American BTW) and I am sure there was no intent when the game was created. IMO this thread has ran it's course.....everyone has made their point (including me) and we should just move on. If you don't like the nickname just delete it. I think there are more important issues in the world today (Iraq war, healthcare, etc. etc.) than to waste time debating if the term "Grand Wizard" in a game is offensive or not. If that was the case then the WWF (now WWE) would have come under fire years ago. "Can't we all just get along?" Sheesh! Hopefully this thread will die soon.

I wonder if anyone would be offended if "Queen" were one of the nicknames?

Listen, there is nothing remotely gay about Queen or their mercurial front man.

Nah. I haven't read this whole thread; just the first post. And I'd vote nah, not inappropriate.

I would have just thought "Grand Wizard" was someone's nickname in real life.
There are people who would see the nickname "Red" and think of someone with red hair, where others would see this and feel the need educate us all on the evils of Communism and having women in OOTP. Maybe they will take this one out of the game for future downloads. But either way
