Why can't I see defensive ratings?

I'm using the 2007 roster set straight from the link " how do I play with real rosters?". I did an inagural draft and have all coaching and scouting options enabled. Defensive ratings and base running ratings are nowhere to be found though. I've made sure to have my scouts scout every team in the league but it doesn't seem to help. I then tried disabling scouting to see if it would show and it does not. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd delete this if I could figure out how

Mike, on this board it may be beneficial if you were to post the resolution to your problem so that others can learn, if you notice this post and are so inclined.

The person who created the roster file left the defensive and base running ratings unchecked. I had to choose how I wanted it displayed. Because it wasn't checked, it displayed nothing.

Has to be done from the league settings. Are you using the same roster set I'm using? In the league setup options it will give you some choices for basic ratings and expanded ratings and secondary ratings and ask if you want them in stars, 1-10, or 1-100 each. Just check the box for the one you want.

I'm using the same roster as you, but i cant seem to find what you say...Can you please make like a step by step for where i got to click to get there? Im really sorry man, first time playing OOTP....

Go to Game Setup:

and select something other than "None Displayed" for the Other Player Ratings Scale:
