The Cardinals have made the playoffs the last 3 years & made it to the NLCS last year. We have basically the same roster plus Rolen for a full year.

Second is some history. The D-backs would be great, but they're brand new, and I like teams that have been around longer than me (born in '80).
9 Championshionships, 2nd only to the Yankees. Great players like Stan Musial, Ozzie Smith, Bob Gibson, Lou Brock, Rogers Hornsby etc. etc. etc.

Third, nobody in the AL Central
NL Central, still the same time zone for convenience of watching games & we are closer to KC than any other major league city. Wanna see a Cardinas game, just hop on interstate 70. (I'm assuming you live in or close to KC, because I haven't met a Royals fan who doesn't & it doesn't say on your profile.)

or whom the Royals have ever played in the postseason (Blue Jays, Yankees, Phillies, Tigers, and Cardinals).
You're going to hold one postseason against us? That was 18 years ago & we even spotted you that one. I don't hold the 87 series against the Twins & we lost. Go Twinkies!

All this plus plus we still have nothing but fond memories of former Royal & Cardinal Dan Quisenberry.

Damn, looks like i could be the only one in the stands at Kaufman stadium this year.....although i am a cardinals fan I still root and go to Royals games since i live here...regardless of how bad they are, maybe i'll get lucky someday and see them become like another franchise and go to the playoffs 13 straight years.....lol....then again that will never happen with Glass running this team.

You could come to the braves. However we dont like bandwagoners. So you can just root for anyteam besides the braves. Why dont we all just become yankee fans if we want a team that wins?? It would be a lot easier.

Why don't you create an expansion team and be them if you can't decide?

How 'bout the Cubs?

Geez, even as a Cub fan, I can't say that with a straight face.

He doesn't mean in OOTP, he means in reality. He's tired of the Royals and their lousy front office approach.
