ERROR: 0001: Unable to open screen mode

Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel Core 2CPU 6400@ 2.13GHz
2GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS

I downloaded the Demo yesterday and it worked fine. I changed the resolution to 1400 / 900, my monitors maximum. Everything looked great. I closed it down and today the program will not respond.

I right click on the desk top icon and run as an administrator. The initial splash screen shows with the clock turning at the bottom. The screen goes black after about 5 seconds. Waiting... waiting... 10 minutes, nothing happens. Start task manager, recieve ERROR: 0001 Unable to open screen mode message. Close down the error message and recieve NVOpenGLPbuffer: ootp2007.exe - Fatal Application Exit message.

I've uninstalled the program and tried redownloading it and fresh installing. Same results. Any advice would be appreciated.

BTW, I found this thread with a similar problem but it didn't address my particular situation and it was closed.

Bumping threads in Technical Support is contraindicated. They are supposedly looked at from oldest to newest.

Hi. I'm sorry for the delay in responding to this.

Hmm, interesting.

Any time you see anything with "OpenGL" in it, it's related to FaceGen. So, just to try to move forward, I'd suggest trying to disable FaceGen.
