Three semi-related issues
Situation: Late game, leading by 1 run. Lefty on the mound for my team. My final at-bat ends (assuming no blown save).
Bug 1: The computer immediately subs in a PH for their next batter, a righty. But, this is out of sequence with reality, because I am putting in a new pitcher (a righty). In reality my new pitcher would come out when my team came out for the inning and the opponent would not make the bad PH coice. Situation cntinues: In making that pitching substitution, I actually shuffle 4 people around to get the best possible defense. This involves sending my SS in to replace the pitcher in the batting order (just in case since the pitcher is up next inning) and putting the pitcher in another spot in the batting order. For a brief moment while in this screen (and only while in this screen), the SS is listed as "P". Bug 2: The SS shows up as a pitcher in the game (0 IP) and is now listed on my pitching staff. Bug 3: The "Remove from Pitching Staff" command, which I assume is meant to remove a guy like this from the pitching staff page, has no effect. |
