BUG: Players disappearing from the Pending Offers screen

After loading up my game again, for some reason some players in my Pending Offers screen have disappeared.

I only have 2 players (Bob Tewksbury & Dwight Gooden) listed in the pending offers, when I had many more offers on the table. I had at least 5-7 more offers pending, and these players are no longer listed in my pending offers.

I am sure that these players have not signed with me or any other team yet. They are still listed in the available free agents.

To prove my point, I looked up these players and tried to make an offer for them, and it says "The player already favors your last offer, you can not make a different offer now.

If he favors my offer, how come he's not in my "Pending Offers" screen? I cannot withdraw my offer from this player because he's not in the Pending Offers screen.

It used to be in the Pending Offers, but when I saved the game, and loaded it up again, it just disappeared, along with a few other pending offered players.

I already submitted a file to the ftp under the name (MetsMan1.zip)

Using this file, you could simply go to -> Free Agents -> Pending Offers -> you'll see that Ricky Henderson & Mark McLemore are not listed there.

Now go to Rickey Henderson and/or Mark McLemore in the Free Agent screen and attempt to offer a contract to them. You'll see that "The player already favors your last offer, you can not make a different offer now."

What happened to my Pending Offers?

(there are probably at least a few more offers that I've made of players who are no longer listed in Pending Offers - can't remember who they are off the top of my head)

Our online league has had this occur to several teams this offseason. The patch was applied during free agency. We had only 1 or 2 sims before applying the patch so we haven't necessarily isolated the issue.

That's strange, I have the patch installed, and I installed it way before free agency started, I installed it during the beginning of the season. I don't see where it says that this was supposed to be addressed in the patch. I'm pretty sure its a new issue that hasn't been looked at, but perhaps somebody could verify.

This has already been logged as TT#2308. It was believed to have been fixed, but seems to have cropped back up. Don't know if it was in the release version or the patch. It has been logged, though.

This is quite the annoying bug. Can anyone confirm whether the player (only real closer avail this year...) ever gets 'freed up' or should I consider him AWOL for the duration of this league?

I guess the only real solution at this point is to remember to NEVER close the program whilst having any offers pending?
