Congrats to the Haymakers! This might be the first matchup we've had with Hebron - I don't remember a previous one.

And to Ian - well fought and congrats on an excellent season.

But the Mick... That P4P title must've gone to his head!

The draft pol has been updated. All fighters have been added except the ones from Long Island Lipbusters roster. I'll add them as soon as the Individual tournaments are over.

Question re Lipbusters

SAL,

At what point in the upcoming draft will the teams that traded for draft picks from the Lipbusters be allowed to make those picks ?

(I see the Lipbusters don't appear on the draft order, but as I recall when we discussed whether or not the new owner would be an expansion team or would simply step in the place of the Lipbusters that you ruled that any teams who received already received draft picks from the Lipbusters in trade -- which would be the Haymakers -- I see perhaps that one was traded to the Stockholm franchise -- and myself -- would be entitled to those extra picks at the appropriate point in the draft.)

That sneaky Scot.

We are just about to hit the meat of the Beavers' line-up.

The best of luck to you Matt.

Congrats to Chris and Matt. Both of you have had great seasons. Two of the nicest guys on here as well. Looks like Hebron is off to a great start, but dont count out the Beavs just yet. Take care guys.

The question remains though, are they ready for ILYAS AHMED?

Seriously - 2-2-0 (2) in the playoffs, I can't imagine more bang for the buck!

Good luck buddy!

Season 4: MVP Candidates - Gold Conference

Candidate #1:

Middleweight - Charles Kid McCoy (Bonner Springs Bald Beavers)
Season 4 Record: 19-0-1 (9)

"The Corkscrew Kid" is the first of 2 MVP candidates representing the East Division powerhouse Bonner Springs Bald Beavers. McCoy ended the season as the only undefeated fighter in the entire Gold Conference. He did not get the opportunity to fight for the MW Title during the regular season. Entering the EOY Tournament, McCoy finds himself with two goals: (1) Win the Middleweight Championship and (2) If possible, avenge a KO-15 loss to teamate Mickey Walker in last season's EOY Tournament.

Charles Kid McCoy heads into his 3rd consecutive MW EOY Tournament as the #3 Seed.

SEASON 4 HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Scored 48 Points (2nd Highest on Bonner Springs Bald Beavers / 9.60% of Team Total)
  • 48 Points was 2nd Highest MW Points Total in Gold Conference
  • Opponents Average Rating: 6.10
  • Notable Wins: W-U12 - Dick Tiger (11), W-U12 - Ken Overlin (10), W-S12 - Michael Nunn, W-U12 - Randy Turpin (9), W-KO1 - Joey Giardello (9), W-S12/W-U12 - Jock McAvoy (8)
  • Draws: D-12 - Ken Overlin (10)
  • Losses: NONE

Season 4: MVP Candidates - Gold Conference

Candidate #2:

Lightweight - Beau Jack (McCune Mitt Slingers)

Season 4 Record: 19-1-0 (13) 1DQ

Beau Jack certainly left his mark on the LW division this season, winning all but one fight with the only blemish on his record being a disqualification loss. Clearly he has established himself as a centerpiece of commissioner SAL's improved McCune Mitt Slingers squad. With the LW Title tucked away in the Silver Conference all season, Jack hopes to take it back to the Gold Conference in the upcoming EOY Tournament.

Beau Jack heads into his 2nd consecutive LW EOY Tournament as the #5 Seed.

SEASON 4 HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Scored 50 Points (Highest on McCune Mitt Slingers / 12.34% of Team Total)
  • Won Gold Conference LW Points Scored Award
  • Opponents Average Rating: 5.80
  • Notable Wins: W-KO3 - Edwin Rosario (10), W-U12 - Edwin Viruet (9), W-KO1/W-TKO10 - Art Aragon (8)
  • Draws: NONE
  • Losses: L-DQ6 - Jesus Chavez

Season 4: MVP Candidates - Gold Conference

Candidate #3:

Light Heavyweight - Bob Foster (Brazilian Barbarians)

Season 4 Record: 19-1-0 (19)

Bob Foster seems to be a piece of furnature in the Gold MVP race every year. Season 4 is no different as Foster dominated the Gold Conference again, winning all 19 of his fights by KO/TKO. Entering the season as the LHW champion, he successfully defended the title 7 times before getting blitzed in a 1st round KO loss. 8 fights later, he regained the title to become a 2-time LHW Champion, and finished the season with 3 more successful title defenses.

Bob Foster heads into his 4th consecutive LHW EOY Tournament as the #1 Seed.

SEASON 4 HIGHLIGHTS:
  • 12-1-0 (12) Record in Title Bouts w/ 10 Successful Defenses
  • Scored 57 Points (Highest on Brazilian Barbarians / 13.22% of Team Total)
  • Won 4th Consecutive Gold Conference LHW Points Scored Award
  • Opponents Average Rating: 7.00
  • Notable Wins: W-TKO6/W-TKO5 - Archie Moore (13), W-TKO9 - Dwight Qawi, W-KO11 - Eddie Mustfa Muhammad (8), W-TKO6 - Roy Jones Jr (8), W-KO4 - Alvaro Lopez (8)
  • Draws: NONE
  • Losses: L-KO1 - Jimmy Adamick (7)

Guys, I'm heading out to the Mohegan Sun casino to see the fight card there tonight. I'll try and post the last 2 Gold MVP Candidates when I get back (although it shouldn't be a surprise who they are). I've got 6 Silver MVP Candidates that I'll try to get to tomorrow.

The ROY and CBF candidates should be posted Sunday.

Check out the draft thread, post #2. I replaced any traded draft pick with the team name that currently owns the pick. Example, in round 2, I replaced (LIL's) team name with the Hoosier Playboys because you now own the pick. In post #3 is a list of the traded draft picks for this season.
