Tim Moungey was good contact hittler, but no power...good fielder, good range...but he quickly dropped off the roster, losing his position to a power-hitting shortstop...Arroyo Grande finished 3rd and 5th in his two years with .540 winning percentage...never made the playoffs...Moungey retired in 2014 at age 36.

Really surprising.

No injury. It looked like you were platooned with five others. Other outfielders had much more power and drove in a lot more runs than you. They had double-digit homers, you only had 9 RBIs and 2 homers in 49 starts. They had 35-45 RBIs each and 10-14 homers. You had the best batting average by far, but was not as productive. They had twice the starts as you.

You just stopped hitting as the years went by.

Your contact dropped each season:

2002 - 78
2003 - 70
2004 - 48
2005 - 40
2006 - 28
2007 - 6

i was obviously discouraged by my lack of playing time.

This is OBVIOUSLY a bug.

Oh well, i guess i'll be the Super Joe Charboneau of Ruthlandia and Tycobbia.

And every young player will worry that they have "Maxed Out" when they go into a long slump.

Looks like I (Devine) was a little bit of a journeyman. Very pleased that I lead the league in career home runs, nice little statistic, but man I better realize soon that it's time to hang up the cleats or all anyone will remember is my bad last couple of years lol

It's sad that stars play too long. My alltime favorite, Stan Musial, played several years too long, although he did come back right at the last and hit .330 at age 41 with 18 homers and 82 RBIs.

I wish he had retired at age 37 when he hit .337.

He would have never hit less than .312, if he had retired then.

He hit .255 twice, .275 and .288 in his declining seasons.

I wouldn't call you a journeyman. You should be inducted in the Hall of Fame with a .273 career batting average and all of those homers and RBIs. You contributed quite a bit to Ginza's playoff runs...283 BA, 11 HRs and 34 RBIs ain't no journeyman. You hit 6 homers in one title run and the team made the finals twice.

Wait until I post my career stats...then you will see a journeyman.

Brian Lawley had a poor career...he was a poor hitter and a poor fielder...he played for poor teams and never made the playoffs...he was a bench player his last 9 years.
