I'll bring it up with the beta team to see if anyone else has raised this issue with Markus already.

This was brought up in the beta forum and according to Markus it's just as rare in the game as it has been in real life. So unless you're seeing a lot of guys like that, I wouldn't say it's a problem. And if it really annoys you, move the guy to 1B as he probably would have been at some point along the line anyway.
