Certain reports not being updated
Some team owners see no updated reports for their own teams. I posted this a few weeks ago and it was closed cause I was told that the patch would fix it. Well it didn't.
For instance my team, the Transactions, Developement, and Top Spects reports aren't getting updated. Actually the Trans and Dev reports are but the format is really weird. Instead of creating a new day in each report its jamming all the info in one day. You can see what I mean here: http://amazinz.allsimbaseball2.com/l...tions_0_0.html http://amazinz.allsimbaseball2.com/l...velopment.html And the Top spects isnt being updated at all: http://amazinz.allsimbaseball2.com/l...prospects.html |

Are you referring to viewing the reports in-game or the HTML generated for the website? To clarify, you can see other team reports but not your own? Or are there some reports that nobody can see?

Are you sure that you have all of your report settings as you want them?
Have you been able to reproduce this, maybe in another fictional test league? When did these issues start happening, and do they happen every single sim? |

DaMook,
This was a bug from 2006 that annoyed the heck out of me last year. It's been fixed, but from personal experience it doesn't seem to fix itself retroactively. That said, I was able to fix it in my online league relatively easily. Try this: 1. Create a league file archive the way you usually would. Make sure you include all the messages and team/player/league news. 2. Save the league and close OOTP. 3. Extract that league file that you just created, overwriting your files. Yes, I know the contents of the archive is identical to what you just saved. 4. Reload OOTP. The various reports should be fixed. I have no idea why that worked for my league, but it did. My best guess is something to do with the timestamp on the archived files being older than the timestamp on the rest of the league, causing OOTP to refresh the glitched logs. Regardless, it solved the problem for me. Let me know if it does (or doesn't) for you. ![]() - Kai

I'm referring to the reports in the HTML generated site and it's random for every team. On my team, the reports I posted links to are the ones I have issues with. Some teams have issues with the some reports and some don't.

It started to happen right after I upgraded to 2007. The setting are just the way I want them. I have it creating reports for everything except for coaches.

Are you generating the reports and uploading in-game? Are these reports showing up in your HTML directory of your league file? Are you manually selecting which reports to generate on a report-by-report basis?

Can you please send me the text files which has been used to create the HTML page? For the first link in your post, it would be the file /news/txt/teams/team_2_all_transactions.txt Have some of the games been simulated on a Mac? |

http://www.teamblood.org/AUBL/news/h...tions_0_0.html This is a converted v2006 league. All simulation has been done on a Mac. This is the only report that I've noticed so far that has an issue. I'm assuming it has something to do with end of line characters, but I can't test it because I don't own a PC. I can supply the appropriate text file if you'd like, but it's too big to post to this forum. -n |

Thanks DaMook for the text files. Helped me a lot. I finally found the problem. There's a problem with the line break characters, they are written in a file format which OOTP cannot read w/o problems. After loading and saving the files in a text editor, it worked. Obviously the text editor converted the files. I'll try to implement a fix, please check it out in the next build.
