2 stat-reporting problems

1. In the batting and pitching reports for major league teams, I'm seeing players show up even if they have 0 games played - in my case, they are players who I'd called up for spring training; I haven't confirmed yet whether this happens for any player who spends time on the ML roster, regardless of games played. Maybe someone could test that?

In some cases, the players were traded away from my team without ever playing a regular season game. So their inclusion is especially awkward. But either way, for readability the reports should include only players who have at least one game played for that team. It makes it difficult to get a real sense of your team's statistics when there are some 15 extra players cluttering up the report.

I do not remember this being the case in 2006.

2. Recently I noticed that when a player is traded, the stats reported for him (at least on the pitching staff screen) are limited to his stats with his new team. That used to be the convention in baseball when a player was traded from the AL to the NL, but this was not the case with this player. (The media aren't completely consistent with regard to the NL/AL switch thing and stat reporting; I don't have a preference but it would seem the easiest thing to program would be just to be consistent.)

Either way, I don't think this is the best way to report stats in OOTP. The player I noticed it with, for example, had had a 9.95 ERA with his previous team. The 3.14 ERA he had managed with his new team was therefore a bit misleading for his stats on the whole, unless it is the case that one team is so different from another in OOTP that his stats from his old team really are irrelevant. Which, sometimes when a guy has a 9.95 ERA for you and a 3.14 for an AI-run team, you start to think is the case.

Since I haven't gotten any traction in general discussion, I'm posting these issues here. Thanks.

I'll log these as requests when I get a chance. I don't have access to the logging system while I'm here at work. I agree with you on both counts.

For issue #2, since you can view total stats elsewhere, it doesn't look like this is going to change, sorry.
