Transitioning a historic league to fictional?

First, let me apologize in advance if I am posting this in the wrong forum. I don't live in these forums, and on the surface, none seem to be the right place for my question.

I have played/simmed an MLB historical league from 1901 to 2007. What I would like to do now is take my historical league with all of its 106 years of history and place it into a new World with Japanese, Korean, Mexican leagues, etc. As well as accurate minor league systems. From there, I would like to play strictly in a fictional world.

Is this even possible? If not, how can I adjust my historic league to become a fictional league?

It should be. You can just add the other leagues at the league set up menu. You may want to start a new one (i.e. a league in 2007 and add teams to that) and mess around with the settings until you find a balance you like. Balance for things like financial settings and what not to see what kind of player movement you are getting.

As far as accurate Minors goes, I think you will have to add those yourself and name them. I am pretty sure you can not load one of the pre-made templates into your existing league, but I could be wrong.
