Inning over after 2nd out!

I experienced the following bug:

1st inning, runner on 1st, 1 out...
...batter hits a double...
...the baserunner starting from 1st gets caught at home plate trying to score...
...we should have a runner on 2nd with 2 outs...
...but the AI declares the inning over!

I attach a screenshot from the game log where the bug appears evident.

I know this is not what you wanted to hear, but...

If it were only on a very rare occasion, I would love seeing something like this. It would make me really mad at the umpire and force me to play the game under protest (in my imagination). I'd start tossing things around and yelling expletives (for real). And I'd blow up in the post-game interview (also imagination).

Yup, I'm a dork, but I get really into the gameplay, and this would give me my George Brett/pine tar moment.

I have seen that before, but I thought I was just imagining things or that I had missed something.
