Line ups being changed
We are playing in the commisioner mode and as a manager of a single team. After setting lineups, we noticed especially in a game that was simmed that the starting lineup had been arbitrarily changed. We thought we had covered all the bases, no pun intended, when it came to lineups. We watched to see who needed rest, who was to be rested after a certain number of games, who would be replaced when tired, and we made the adjustments in the player strategy as to who should not be pinch hit for and even checked the box where its says "prevent any AI roster changes" for the team. And I am not talking about a normal replacement due to an injury in a game, just the basic starting line up. What am I missing or doing wrong? Thanks.
Don't know if you need this info for this issue but: We are using the patched version of OOTPB 2007 on an HP Pavillion Media Center PC with Windows XPSP2. Card is a Radeon X1950pro. Dual core 2133 Mhz process. |

No, a historical (2005) major league team. Just curious, that would matter if it is a minor or major league team?

Yes - there is a bug that was thought to be fixed in the latest patch that dealt with Minor League managers having their lineups/rotations changed by the AI. It is still a problem.
